Program areas at Elluminate

Elluminate, a network of jewish women for equity and justice, has created a unique and dedicated space for jewish women entreprenurial leaders and executives working for social innovation within and outside the jewish community. The collective, our signature leadership advancement program, has trained, supported, and connected 50 jewish women executives working for social change. As a participant in the program they participate in Elluminate provides a two-year curriculum focused on leading through a jewish and gender lens, cohort group, build peer-to-peer relationships building, capacity grants for their organizations, and individual professional development training ,they also become part of the Elluminate network and get a national platform(continued on schedule o)(continued)for their cause including a dedicated webinar called crown jewel conversations. Through this work we are impacting ending the feminization of poverty, creating a more inclusive and diverse jewish community, advocating for democracy and equality in israel and the us, and working for reproductive justice, gender justice, and women's safety. We also run a "women in the c-suite" program for jewish women ceos who come together monthly on an informal base to share challenges and opportunities with peers and network. This has been an important space since october 7, where jewish leaders can find a safe space to speak about how the massacre in israel impacts them personally and their organization and work. We run an annual national conference that brings together jewish women philanthropists, advocates, and individuals along with professional jewish leaders and experts to grapple with emergent issues impacting women rights, queer talmudic study, eliminating mass incarceration, ending sex trafficking, and educating disadvantaged communities. To supplement our grantmaking, Elluminate educates the community and advocates for policies that positively impact marginalized communities at the local, federal, and international level. Elluminate is uniquely positioned to create long lasting, systemic, and impactful change. Members of Elluminate have the opportunity to hone and share their philanthropic voice to affect change in new york, israel, and around the globe. Since our inception in 1995, Elluminate has awarded over $6 million to more than 250 projects, programs, and organizations.
