Excluding three trainees who continued to work on significant housing, health, and similar challenges, the percentage is 93%. 80% demonstrated improvement and/or proficiency in at least 10 of the 12 employment readiness skills identified by the U.S. Department of Labor as being the foundation for success in any career or workplace. Statistically significant improvements were reported specific to feeling confident, knowing how to make the community a better placed, and feeling comfortable speaking in front of others. There was also an improvement in having an adult they can talk with when having a problem. In 2022, we had six trainees opt for our Earn and Learn component.
