Description
Emmas Education Center focuses on providing life skills for adults with intellectual disabilities. Our students are taught self-help skills, basic education skills, and how to survive within the confines of their own home in a private home setting. Currently, we have 12 students. In addition, our horse project offers therapeutic involvement with equine while immersing our students in Texas culture. They learn how to care for horses and ponies while receiving therapeutic interaction through brushing, petting, and feeding.
