In 2021 the Enamel Arts Foundation acquired 97 works for its collection through a combination of generous gifts and strategic purchases. These acquisitions helped fill gaps in the Foundation's collection and supported new work by pioneering artists in the enamels field. Expense line includes other related expenses.
In 2021 in partial fulfillment of its mission to increase awareness appreciation and understanding of modern and contemporary enamels the Foundation contributed 938 works of art to four museums: Yale University Art Gallery the Philadelphia Museum of Art the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and the Crocker Art Museum. Expenses associated with that gift such as art preparation packing crating shipping insurance and storage are all included in this figure.
Collection maintenance includes fine arts insurance storage and conservation expense.
