Program areas at Enterprise Ethereum Alliance
The eea is a member-led industry organization whose objective is to drive the use of Ethereum blockchain technology as an open-standard to empower all enterprises. Our members are thought leaders from around the globe with a shared vision to create enterprise-ready solutions.eea working groups (wgs) collaborate to develop open, standards-based specifications to accelerate the acceptance and deployment of Ethereum blockchain solutions within the global marketplace. These groups ensure that deliverables developed by the eea and the specific industry requirements developed by the eea interest groups (igs) are prepared properly for inclusion in specification development. Wgs also may determine how to use existing standards to resolve problems, provide support to help eea members understand what they need, and provide a contact point for the broader community to make requests or ask questions.igs are vertical, industry-centric groups where eea members in a specific industry segment exchange information, share use cases, and work together to ensure that the eea Enterprise Ethereum technical specification supports their specific industry market requirements. To foster information exchange and collaboration, igs host phone calls, webinars, and in-person meetings that often feature speakers and industry presentations on important blockchain concepts and technical innovations.the eea also supports community projects managed under the oasis open process to provide support for open source development of code, apis, standards, and reference implementations. Other programming includes educational initiatives including webinars, primer development, blog posts, and research efforts. The eea also supports networking and professional development through online and in-person events. The communications programs of the eea include Ethereum evangelism efforts to promote the use of Ethereum to businesses and professionals.
