Program areas at Epic Experience

Epic Experience performs and offers programs to encourage adult cancer survivors and thrivers to live beyond cancer. Our founding program is our week-long camp in the Colorado rockies where we host survivors and thrivers from across the us over the age of 18. Fundraising and outreach continue to help us reach more survivors and thrivers each year. We held our annual hearts and hope gala in may and our raftoberfest event in august where we enjoyed rafting the Colorado river. Due to the global pandemic, we did not hold any winter camps. We resumed camps with 4 weeklong camps. Epic Experience held nine 1-day programs hosted by local alumni and Epic Experience staff in new jersey, Colorado, Kentucky, Maine, Washington Texas, California, Arizona, and Wisconsin. We kayaked, paddle boarded, hiked, and enjoyed the obstacle course. We continued with our virtual exercise class and zoom meetups. We expanded our podcast, campfires of hope to share stories of survival, support, resources, and education. We partnered with other nonprofits by sharing other programs available to the cancer community. We expanded and recorded for our upcoming thrivevr program, a virtual Experience for adult cancer patients in cancer centers.
