Health and community wellness - organized a team of nonprofit organizations and government agencies to address one of the most significant, long-standing disparities in the eastern crescent: limited access to affordable nutritious food; healthcare facilities; financialservices; retail stores; personal services; restaurants; professional services; childcare facilities; libraries; and many other services and amenities readily available in other parts ofaustin. "live well vive bien" is designed and will be implemented to provide a mobile ecosystemwhich will provide affordable, nutritious food and essential household household items to the residents of several eastern crescent neighborhoods.
Housing - organized a community based program which will be impletmented and provide a preservation plan intended to mitigate the threatened displacement of long-time residents of the colony park neighborhood. Colony park has been classified as "most vulnerable" to displacement through gentrification in a city of austin report prepared by the university of Texas at austin.
Education - collaborated with austin isd to develop a community school model in the colony park neighborhood, including programs to address food insecurity, student access to technology and after-school programs; and with child, Inc. Regarding an early childhood learning program.
