Description
Equitable Food Initiative is a multi-stakeholder skill-building and certification organization committed to creating and sharing value in the fresh produce industry for workers, growers, retailers, and consumers. Its mission involves transforming agriculture and improving the lives of farmworkers. EFI's largest programs comprise of farm certification, training, and industry education. By the end of 2021, it had collaborated with 10 major national retail and food service produce buyers along with 32 of their fresh produce suppliers to implement rigorous standards.
