Era Coalition

Lobbying activities - Era Coalition Inc. conducts both grassroots and direct lobbying to further its mission of passing and ratifying an equal rights amendment (Era). Board and staff of the Era Coalition meet with members and staff of lead sponsors of Era legislation to strategize ways to increase congressional support. The Era Coalition board and staff regularly meets with policymakers to educate them about the need for an Era and secure their support for Era legislation. The Era Coalition also works with Coalition members and partners to encourage its members and supporters to lobby their members of congress to support the passage and ratification of an Era.
