Program areas at Erik's Ranch

Erik's ranchis a membership program that provides living, working, social, and recreational environments for adults with autism spectrum disorders in Minnesota and Montana. Our mission is to provide our members with a rewarding life on their own terms, experiencing dignity, compassion, and the joy of continuing possibility. Our mission is only possible and fully realized because of the guests who stay and tour with us at both our guest Ranch in Montana and boutique-style hotel accommodations in Minnesota. Our guests provide positive social interactions and meaningful employment opportunities for our members, such as tour guides, concierge staff, historians, bakers and much more. The overnight donations from guests staying with us allow us to financially sustain our mission and pay wages to our members and team of life plan coaches who support them. As indicated, our members are directly responsible for generating guest donations by leading and assisting with a variety of tours. These tours, available to our guests and the public, include horseback riding, a wildlife excursion, hiking tours, cocktail tours, segway tours, limo tours, and more. Providing meaningful employment opportunities for young adults on the autism spectrum is the core of our mission, and the income generated by these tours is vital to our sustainability.
