In furtherance of its purposes, Essentia Health West provides Health care services in Minnesota and north dakota through its 142 bed hospital and 21 clinics, including charitable care to persons unable to pay.the multi-specialty hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services for its patients, including critical care, medical surgical care, pediatric services, neonatal intensive care, and maternity care. The hospital's emergency department is open 24 hours per day and is designed as a level ii trauma center. The hospital also has several operating room suites, which include both inpatient and day surgery.essentia Health West employs approximately 1,900 full time equivalents.
