Civic park has hosted more 100,000 visitors during the year ended june 30, 2023. Civic park has established itself as a critical place for kids, families, and adults to experience community and physical activity, especially during the challenges and chaos of the pandemic. The market of choice field at Civic park has hosted summer camps; high school flag football; adult and youth soccer; tackle football; adult kick-ball; rugby; lacrosse; ultimate frisbee games and tournaments; youth soccer; college soccer; pre-professional soccer; and special olympics athletes and coaches. The fieldhouse has hosted youth summer camps; volleyball; basketball clinics and leagues; pickleball; dinner banquets; celebration of life services; other community events; a martial arts competition; fitkids and pe fusion for children 8 months to 5th grade; choir practice; and a youth symphony exhibition. Eugene Civic Alliance's transformation of Civic stadium to Civic park has created a premier place and space for our community to play together, stay together, and become a healthier, more active community by doing so.
