Program areas at Eureka Symphony
During the july 1, 2022 through june 30, 2023 concert season, the Eureka Symphony produced 5 concertweekend performances (10 concerts) and one chamber music performance which were attended by over 5,000 adults, students and children. About 15% of those attending used complementary tickets provided by the Symphony to make the performances more accessible to every income level. Prior to each concert a free musical note program is provided so that concert goers can have a more in-depth understanding of the music that will be performed during the concert.as part of the Eureka Symphony's education outreach, we presented two special concerts free ofcharge to nearly 1,500 elementary school children from our north coast region. Educational packetscovering the music to be performed was provided to the schools to help teachers prep their studentsfor their concert experiences. During the concerts, the children were educated about the distinctivesounds of orchestra instruments and the music being played.a musicians to schools program is also provided. This program sends small groups of our musicians tolocal schools to give even more students a hands-on, up close look at classical music, musicians andtheir instruments.the Eureka Symphony remains committed to providing world class music to benefit our community.
