Program areas at European-American Chamber of Commerce
Business Development Initiative - a dynamic platform for EACC member companies and organizations to invest in the EACC's mission and to support U.S. and European businesses in the region grow the scope and profitability of their businesses through programs that: 1. Connect member companies and organizations to each other and to resources that can support growth. 2. Provide information (legal/policy updates; Cross-cultural awareness, etc.) that help organizations better understand and capitalize on opportunities and challenges. 3. Allow member organizations to demonstrate their unique value proposition to other companies.
Talent Development Initiative - 1. Celebrate EACC member companies and organizations that are leading local efforts to train and retain the skilled workforce needed for the 21st Century. 2. Connect EACC member companies to resources that can help then meet their workforce needs. 3. Advocate for more positive attitudes and a better appreciation for the possibilities of careers in manufacturing and trades. 4. Support European and other executives arriving in the Cincinnati Tri-State region (and their families) by helping them feel welcome and to connect to peers and resources that ease the transition both personally and professionally. 5. Support retention of young professionals (35 and under) with programs that connect them to each other and to local executives demonstrating that great international careers can happen in the Cincinnati Tri-State region.
Economic Development Initiative - 1. Work with local and regional economic development organizations (EDO's) to raise awareness in Europe of the Cincinnati Tri-State Region as an attractive destination for foreign direct investment. 2. Support U.S. companies seeking information about export and investment opportunities in Europe. 3. Work directly with European and U.S. potential investors to connect them to the resources that can support their investment decisions. 4. Build relationships with European trade commissioners, local and bilateral Chambers of Commerce, Diplomats and others as tools in support of the points above.
