Everett Recovery Cafe empowers long-term transformation through human connection, providing a safe and healing community for individuals recovering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. At the peer-to-peer recovery support organization, visitors are welcomed to know themselves as loved with gifts to share. The program is designed to maintain recovery, reduce relapse, and fulfill potential through a healing milieu featuring free nutritious meals and coffee, open mic nights, daily encouragement, and celebrations.

Program areas at Everett Recovery Cafe

Our program is designed to help people maintain recovery, reduce relapse, and fulfill their potential. Important elements of this work include: a healing milieu with free, nutritious meals, coffee, and celebrations; open mic nights; daily encouragement from trained recovery coaches and a robust delivery of the message you matter.Loving accountability groups called Recovery Circles are core to our program. Members are expected to attend a weekly Recovery Circle. They are expected to call if they are unable to attend. Member empowerment, enrichment and utilization: Everett Recovery Caf is committed to encouraging growth and the rebuilding of members lives through the power of giving back. This peer-to-peer aspect of recovery support is one of the most powerful pieces of Everett Recovery Cafs success.Classes address the underlying causes of addiction, teach coping skills, develop knowledge, teach new skills, provide healing, and build recovery capital.Referral Services: Everett Recovery Caf has relationships and partnerships with a wide network of complimentary service providers. In 2022, Everett Recovery Caf served 651 members, and recorded 11,105 individual recovery visits, defined as one person welcomed through our doors on a given day for support, resources, meals, and a community of care.The Cafs Recovery Coach Program provides members in recovery from drugs and alcohol with a recovery coach, who assists them in setting goals as part of a Recovery Wellness Plan. The coach meets regularly with members to support the removal of barriers to those goals. The members can receive recovery housing vouchers and transportation vouchers.In 2022, the Caf facilitated 2,732 Recovery Coach sessions, issued 354 recovery housing vouchers, and 1,436 transportation vouchers.
