In 2022, Evergreen Action used strategic campaign-style media and digital communications to build awareness, support, and momentum for bold climate action and pursued direct engagement with decision-makers, grasstops leaders, and coordinated with partners at the federal and state level to pass historic climate action, most notably, the Inflation Reduction Act. Through the launch of our State Climate Leadership Initiative, Evergreen Action supported state leaders in the 2022 midterm elections, made climate action a central issue of critical gubernatorial re-election campaigns and advised policymakers on the critical need to execute state level climate action to augment the historic investments provided by the Inflation Reduction Act.
