Program areas at Evergreen Recovery Centers

Outpatient behavioral health counseling: provides alcoholism and drug addiction and mental health counseling at clinics in lynnwood and everett. Outpatient services include assessment and treatment referral, intensive outpatient and aftercare, dui and drug court programs, drug screening and outreach services to jail and diversion center. In 2022 this program served more than 5,000 adults through medicaid or state/federal funding, private health insurance, or self-pay. This program also provides drug testing collection and analysis for courts, individuals, employers and community agencies. Provides more than 8,000 urine and hair tests.
Pregnant and parenting women's long-term residential with therapeutic daycare: provides up to 6 months of integrated chemical dependency and mental health counseling to mothers and pregnant women, with a therapeutic care component for enhancing the development of drug-affected infants and young children. Over 20% of the mothers enter treatment during pregnancy and return to treatment with their infants after hospital delivery to complete the program. In 2022 the ppw program, located in everett, helped 100 families to find a new start with Recovery, housing and self-sufficiency as well as providing their children with positive early childhood experiences. It took over the space previously occupied by the everett detox program, allowing it to maintain a stable census in spite of social distancing.
Detoxification and health services:provides medically supervised short-term inpatient withdrawal management as an alternative to costlier hospitalization through a single facility in lynnwood, with funding from a variety of sources. In 2022 over 1000 individuals received withdrawal management and treatment referral services and/or medication assisted treatment or psychological care through medical staffing.
Parent-child assistance program (pcap):this intensive 3-year outreach case management program assists high-risk mothers and their children to reduce alcohol and drug-exposed births and fetal effects. Outreach, home visitation, and advocacy services begin during pregnancy and encourage and support women toward Recovery and creating healthy families. These are the primary offices established by the university of Washington under a research grant in the late 1990's. In 2022 king county pcap opened a satellite office in tukwila. 220 women per month are served through offices in seattle, tukwila and tacoma.
Legacy lodge men's residential: provides 45 to 60 day inpatient treatment for men with substance use disorders and histories of relapse and mental health disorders. At discharge the men move into clean and sober housing in their communities and continue treatment on an outpatient basis. Legacy lodge helped more than 115 adult men in 2022 to begin Recovery.
Outreach programs (l.e.a.d. And h.o.s.t. ):provided law enforcement assisted diversion (lead) services in 2021 to men and women referred by police for assistance in accessing services, including behavioral health, housing, and health care. In 2022 the lead program served over 120 adults a month referred by everett, lynnwood, mukilteo, brier, mountlake terrance, edmonds and bothell police departments. The homeless outreach stabilization & transition (host) program connects chronic homeless persons with services and housing; most have chronic behavioral health issues. Staff include health care professionals and behavioral health case managers with services to over 20 individuals a month.
Transitional housing:provides short-term housing and case management for homeless families and single adults in early Recovery moving from inpatient treatment to Evergreen outpatient. In 2022, 12 mothers and their children and 75 adult men received services at erc's two primary transitional houses in everett. With demolition of 4 houses for construction of a new residential facility for pregnant and parenting women, 2 former transitional houses for mothers and children were lost. Evergreen has received funding to building a new pilot housing program with behavioral health services for full families in 2025.
