Evergreen Valley High School Band Boosters

Band/Orchestra Classes - Handle the majority of the expenses for music, instruments, major repairs of equipment, and transportation off-site performances. There are 4 bands (Concert Band - 9th grade, Conservatory Ensemble - 10th grade; Symphonic Band th-12th grade; and Wind Ensemble - 10th-12th grade top musicians) and the Orchestra (9th-12th grade). Every school year, the band boosters host 4 concerts to showcase the students’ talents Concert ticket sales provide a large portion ofthe program Service revenue. In addition, every 3-4 years since 2008, the Wind Ensemble, and in recent years also the Orchestra, travels New York City for a 4-day performance tour to participate in the New York International Music Festival held at Carnegie Hall The most recent trip was in Apri! 2018, and the band boosters has provided all the logistical services, chaperones, and financial support for the performance tours Lastly, since 2012, the EVHS Band Boosters has sponsored at least scholarships deserving seniors from the band/orchestra classes to help with college tuition

Marching Band Program - Musicians from the 4 bands and the orchestra come together to form the Marching Band. It 1s a volunteer extra-curricular group that performs at school football games, community events, and regional/state competitions.
