Program areas at Every Murder Is Real
Provide victims services and advocacy, support groups, wellness services, and individual counseling and family counseling services to families of homicide victims in philadelphia as part of philadelphias community expansion grants program, a grant program that launched in 2021 and that directly funded and supported organizations that are focused on reducing violence through trauma-informed healing.
All other contributions to Every Murder Is Real were used to further its mission of providing support services to victims of homicides.
Every Murder Is Real received several grants from the pa commision on crime and deliquency to support a number of initiatives including, providing services for victims of homicide, crisis response, court accompaniment, assistance with victim impact statements. Also for wellness services such as mindfulness, understanding trauma and conflict resolution
