Program areas at Every Neighborhood Partnership
Neighborhood Development - We taught 160 classes on civic engagement, community building, organizational development, land use, digital literacy, dance fitness, teen trauma, and nutrition education and reaching over 6,416 residents, 11 neighborhoods, and 11 community based organizations.
Neighborhood Health and Wellness - Physical activity classes designed to fit each age group with intentional locations that provide convenient access to residents in multiple neighborhoods. Each class is led by a trained community health worker that promotes wellness in their own neighborhood to promote culture, social connection, and mental wellness.
School Support - Served 626 students. We created and provided 114 literacy mentoring kits to 19 school sites. Our Read Fresno 1st graders grew an average of 60 points , while 1st graders as a whole grew an average of 40 points from initial to end of year testing. So our students grew 20 points more than the average student. We provided 4,445 meals to students during our Saturday Sports program during this year.
