Program areas at Every Voice Choirs
Every Voice Choirs offered six afterschool programs based in Upper Manhattan in 2022-2023: Kids Choir (ages 7-10), Youth Choir (ages 11-17), Concert Choir (ages 11-17, by audition), VoiceAbility (for children with disabilities, ages 7-17), Cornerstone Intergenerational Choir (children and their trusted adults) and Vocal Technique class. Additionally, EVC provided in-school and afterschool programming through its school satellite program. Major concerts included The Pumpkin Singalong (10/27/22), Holiday Concert at The Forum (12/19/22), Annual Concert for MLK (1/16/23), Peace Seekers Winter Concert (1/21/23), Spring Concert for the Environment (5/19/23) as well as collaborative performances with Cantori New York and Cecilia Chorus of New York (2 concerts at Carnegie Hall). The Concert Choir recorded a premiere released online and on an LP.
