Evolve CA Education Fund

In 2023 we had two major areas of focus. The first was educating the public on the continued underfunding of California public schools. We organized dozens of actions with college students and our members at farmers markets, street fairs, college campuses and other public places to raise awareness about the lack of education funding in California. This was done to build public support for future policy work. The second, was expanding our recruitment efforts at multiple campuses across the Bay Area to increase the diversity of our college internship program. We also enhanced the number and quality of the workshops that we offer our interns as well as diversified the types of opportunities our students receive to practice the organizing skills we teach them.
