Excel By 5

Forty-three communities throughout the state were certified or participated in the Excel By 5 certification process. Each community worked to identify and promote high quality comprehensive supportive services for children 0-5 through the four community focus areas of community involvement, family and parent support, early care and education and health. This was accomplished through community events and activities to engage and educate community members concerning the importance of preparing children, ages 0-5 and informing parents. Events and activities were held in each community and a broad cross section of each community participated.
