Building up: epic has developed the building up initiative To support a critical child care infrastructure need in Colorado. Building up will enhance the capacity of epic To support the generation of ideas, prototyping solutions, and project management for child care infrastructure projects in addition To advocacy support for state and local efforts. Epic will support projects from the concept stage through the point when the child care business is ready To operate with data informed decisions. Building up will increase affordability & availability of quality child care for families of Colorado. Improve sustainability for child care owners To maintain business facility/home. Improve business support for current and future child care business owners. Increase compensation for the early childhood educator workforce.
National Summit: THE SUMMIT WILL EDUCATE, CULTIVATE, AND EQUIP KEY BUSINESS LEADERS SO THEY CAN ACTIVATE AND LEAD CHILD CARE SOLUTIONS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THESE SOLUTIONS WILL PROVIDE ACTIONABLE STRATEGIES AND TOOLS TO HELP THEM SUPPORT, LEAD, AND IMPLEMENT CHILD CARE STRATEGIES LEADING TO GREATER ECONOMIC SUCCESS. THE SUMMIT IS AN EXCLUSIVE FORUM FOR LEADERS TO LEARN FROM INDUSTRY EXPERTS AND INNOVATORS WHO ARE SOLVING FOR WORKFORCE RETENTION AND RECRUITMENT CHALLENGES PLAGUING THE BUSINESS SECTOR.
Family friendly business practices: epic leads a strong coalition of state and local partners that understands and promotes family-friendly workplaces. Participating in epic family-friendly initiatives supports the development of happier, healthier employees who are more dedicated, loyal and productive. Epic family-friendly initiatives are supported by an employer workplace tool-kit and includes needs assessment, feasibility, and project implementation services that enable employers To implement workplace policies and benefits that support working parents.
