Program areas at FabMo
The organization actively sources materials which are set to be discarded from the interior design community. It distributes, without charge, these materials in a monthly three-day event to the public for creative re-use. The organization has active outreach efforts in the community with regular participation (displays, activity tables, etc. ), at environmental and community events, to tell the repurposing story. Due to covid restrictions a digital shopping platform was implemented to allow people to select material for curbside pickup and, when capacity restrictions were imposed, a second three day event was added to allow more people to access materials without crowding. Fabmo hosts an annual craft fair to showcase products with significant repurposed content obtained from Fabmo.
