Educational Arts supports many educational programs such as artists-in-schools. Performing Arts programs support summer-long free performances in pioneer park for community members and visitors of all ages to enjoy. This platform also gives a diversity of performing artists an opportunity to receive professional development and showcase their antistry to a live audience.
Visual Arts committee schedules art exhibits in the bear gallery for solo and group exhibits. Artists from outside the community are brought in to give interior artists the opportunity to connect with a broader community of Arts. Literary Arts and regranting supports programs such as writing in the dark, the Alaska writers guild, the statewide poetry contest and the community writers group to help nurture writers so that they can achieve their goals.
