Program areas at Fairbanks Concert Association

For our 2022-23 fiscal year, fca further developed its programming to include our collaboration and participation in the first arctic fest. The event spanned 6 days and included over 15 partnering arts organizations and uaf departments, as well as welcomed over 3,500 patrons. We offered another 15 performances as part of our 75th season, including two 3 weeks-long residencies using shakespearean theater to help veterans overcome trauma. Our 4 school shows attracted over 4,500 k-8 students, and are always a favorite for the school district. We collaborated with the Fairbanks community jazz band for a show in partnership with the emmet cohen trio, another very well received initiative. We ended the season with pink martini and a large 75th anniversary celebration at the auto museum. There we offered snips of historical facts about fca, and are now in the completion phase for a history book on our 75 years of history in the Fairbanks community.
Fairbanks Concert Association celebrated their programs with a 75th anniversary celebration gala during the 2022-2023 season. The celebration took place at the auto museum and pink martini attended. The Association celebrated the history of the Association and 75 years of inspiring children through the performing arts. There we offered snips of historical facts about fca, and are now in the completion phase for a history book on our 75 years of history in the Fairbanks community.
