Program areas at Families First Parenting Programs

Families First partners with parents to amplify their power so they can positively impact the lives of children and communities. Through their award-winning research-based programming, Families First focuses on equipping parents of young children to (1) use positive Parenting strategies to promote their children's development and well-being and (2) engage and advocate within the local institutions that shape lifelong outcomes for children. By intentionally partnering with organizations in communities with high levels of poverty and structural inequity, Families First reduces barriers to participation by meeting parents in the neighborhoods where they live and work and where there is the most opportunity to influence better outcomes for children.
