Within our 24/7 emergency shelter, we continue to address basic needs for up to 38 individuals, offering them respite from the daunting challenges of street life and enabling them to focus on their journey toward stable housing. In the past year, we have successfully provided emergency housing for a total of 63 women/women-identifying individuals, ranging in age from 20 to 65, provided over 8,300 meals, and housed 16 participants. Our Community Ambassador program continues to be committed to building community, reducing violence, and restoring a sense of security for all community members, including residents, workers, merchants, and visitors. In the past year, we have defused 91 tense situations, provided 6,098 outreach and intervention services to houseless individuals, and offered guidance and referrals to community resources 2,697 times.
