We developed curriculum for our new workshops calm & kind Family that build Family connections with trauma-informed strategies and resources. We piloted the workshops with schools in southern California and previewed the content for districts nationwide in june. Districts nationwide will offer the workshops this school year.our national staff supported our school team leaders with more than 50 webinars and a national conference in order to support the network of district and school site leaders.schools nationwide presented workshops from our 10th edition of parenting partners workshops that includes additional content on social-emotional growth -- tools for exploring feelings and the zones of regulation. The expanded bilingual workbooks are now printed in full color.our Family meals challenge workshops expanded content on tools for managing social media and screen time for better mental health.family Leadership reached more than 20,000 parents this year with comprehensive parenting skills and Leadership training, resulting in stronger families and more school success for more than 40,000 children through our Family engagement workshops: parenting partners, calm & kind Family, Family meals challenge and our pro series professional learning workshops: proleadership, prostrengths, prowebinars.family Leadership started and sustained parent training teams led by more than 1,500 volunteer trainers in hundreds of schools and community organizations. Family Leadership partners with schools and community groups in areas of high child poverty. We lead workshops in multiple languages.family Leadership partners with school districts and the educational associations across the united states.parents experience the workshops in small Leadership groups of parents, led by local school-site teams trained by Family Leadership. Parents graduate from parenting partners training workshops with practical tools that empower them as effective leaders at home, in the school, and in the community.we build skills in positive discipline and Family organization, support skills, and academic improvement. The results at schools include stronger academic achievement, higher reading scores, and stronger social-emotional well-being.our school districts have the option of delivering the workshops in-person or through remote learning with web-based platforms. This year most schools chose in-person workshops. Family meals build effective Family practices for wellness, social-emotional learning, and school achievement.pro leadership-graduates of parenting partners workshops often become workshop presenters themselves. In this series, they practice advanced presentation methods that build their confidence and capacity to present workshops, creating a sustainable cohort of leaders.pro strengths-this is a life changing peofessional learning experience that connects leaders and teams to their greatest strengths. Pro strengths creates powerful, positive teams for Family engagement. It provides compelling professional learning for parents and staff. We facilitate the experience for school cohorts in an online platform.
