Family Promise of Blount County

Family Promise of Blount County had a successful fiscal year ending on june 30, 2023, with several significant accomplishments that positively impacted the mission to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence. One major accomplishment was the successful completion of the organization's housing program, which provided safe and stable housing for 10 families in need of an emergency shelter, 21 families served in transitional housing, and 21 families served with eviction or move-in assistance. Through partnerships with local landlords and donors, Family Promise was able to ensure that these families had a roof over their heads and access to resources that would help them work towards self-sufficiency. Additionally, Family Promise of Blount County saw an increase in the number of families served through its case management program. This included receiving grants to provide eviction assistance or move-in assistance helping families remain in or obtain permanent housing. Overall, the organization's achievements during the fiscal year underscored its commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of homeless and at-risk families in the community.
