Program areas at Family Promise of Greater Orlando
Shelter: Family Promise of Greater Orlando (fpgo) provided 26 homeless families (83 individuals including 31 children) with shelter, meals and case management services. Ninety percent (90%) of the clients in the program exited to positive housing destinations.
Prevention & diversion: Family Promise of Greater Orlando (fpgo) prevented 46 families (151 individuals including 94 children) from homelessness and diverted 31 families (117 individuals including 77 children) from moving to a homeless shelter. Fpgo provided case management services and financial assistance as needed to keep the families stably housed. In prevention, 100% of the families received case management, achieved housing stability and maintained or increased their income. One hundred percent (100%) of the families were diverted from shelter.
Housing: Family Promise of Greater Orlando (fpgo) provided case management services to 63 families (195 individuals including 108 children) enrolled in the housing programs. 95% of the families in this program remain stably housed for two years.
Stabilization: Family Promise of Greater Orlando (fpgo) provided formal stabilization services to 10 families (36 individuals including 26 children) through our circles two-year program, that creates a supportive community for each Family. Participants have increased their credit scores and decreased their debt while working on long-term smart goals with their volunteer mentors. In 2023, this initial cohort completed the official programming and the second cohort began.
