Program areas at Farmsahel

Food growth through regenerative cultivation the goal of this program is to increase community social-equality and reduce poverty. It supplies seeds and natural fertilizers and create education on regenerative cultivation through a layaway savings system called farmwallet. Through this program, we also organize farmers into cooperatives and train members on cooperative management, transformational leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Community development through renewable resources. The goal of this program is to improve community livelihoods and care for our earth . We want to build education centers powered by renewable resources (internet and electricity powered by renewable technologies), build wells for drip irrigation, and introduce renewable composting practices, soil and water conservation.
Climate resilience through land conservation. In 2021, Farmsahel started partnering with farming communities around the sahel, starting in burkina faso to reverse poverty and deforestation. The goal is to establish a permanent forest ecosystem that will be responsibly managed to ensure it delivers benefits for communities, wildlife, and the environment. We plant trees and educate communities on their proper after care, and the benefits of improved forestry practices.to date, we have planted 100 trees, and we are not focusing on the number of trees planted, but on the number of trees grown.
