Advocacy support programs provides funding($200) to families that are in need of a special needs advocate to atend their childs school district meetings. The advocates are licenses and trained in special education services. The special education advocate help to ensure children and disabilies are getting thr apporpriate services and support in the school district. Feat will pay the advocate directly once their services have been provided.
Feat ipad4u program provides a brand new ipad and communication app for children on the autism spectrum that are limited in language or non-verbal. The ipad and communication app provide a voice for kids when they press a picure icon. This program helps the child to communicate all while reducing behaviors due to frustration by not being able to express their wants/needs.
Spectrum connects is friendhip matching program. Feat has approx 350 individuals on the autism sprctrum in this program.provides acivities and outings that are cultured and geared around meeting friends. Feat provides registed behavior technicans (trained autism specialist) at events to help facilitate and promote language among the attendees. Provides a text group chat to keep families connected and involved after the meetups have completed.
