Program areas at Federal Hill House Association

Foster grandparents program: income-eligible older adults ages 55 and over stay active by serving children and youth at local schools, childcare centers, libraries, and community centers through the foster grandparents program. Foster grandparents serve as role models and mentors to children with exceptional needs.
Basic needs - basic needs includes two food pantries that distribute emergency food, fresh produce, household items, and diapers. It includes nutrition education and referrals for community resources.
Early learning center and school age child care. Children ages 6 weeks through five years receive high quality, full day/full year child care and early education in a safe and stimulating environment led by qualified teachers and teaching assistants. School age children in kindergarten through age 12 receive before and after school care, including a healthy meal, enrichment, and transporation to and from school. Sacc operates a full summer learning program in addition to school year activities.
