Feeding South Florida's mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts and transforming lives through innovative programming and education. With a network of over 350 non-profit community partners, Feeding South Florida distributed over 63 million pounds of food to children, older adults, working families and more. Feeding South Florida provides critical food assistance and other related resources to individuals and families facing food insecurity in miami dade, broward, palm beach, and monroe counties. Feeding South Florida uses innovative direct service programs to make food resources accessible and available to those who need it most. We also provide programs/services that promote long-term sustainability to help individuals and families achieve independence.in addition to providing over 63 million pounds of food, Feeding South Florida expanded its culinary training program, warehouse training program, mobile farmacy, medically tailored meal delivery program, enrolled over 1,316 households in snap and other federal benefit assistance programs and received the support of over 24,000 volunteers.
