The history of italian immigration museum was opened in 2014 to preserve the history of the italian-american community. It is open to the public 4 days a week. Memberships are also available for purchase. Museum collections include material to illustrate the history of the earliest italian immigrants, including life before immigration, travel to america, and life in america, as well as representations of subsequent generations of italian-americans reflective of their achievements, ties to italian traditions and effort to maintain expressions of their italian heritage.
