Financial Protection Law Center

The Center investigated 139 inquiries and managed more than 80 on-going cases based on those inquiries involving defense to foreclosure or debt collection/asset protection, bankruptcy, or assisting homeowners in applying for the NC Homeowner Assistance Fund. Staff also presented information and resource materials to consumers and community groups on property tax relief programs available to homeowners.
