With a particular emphasis on the finer Lakes region of upstate new york, the flbm conducts courses, workshops, demonstratons. Lectures and exhibits on the rich history of Boating and boat bulding in the 14 county area. The flbm collection houses over 200 Finger Lakes built boats and numerous Boating ephemera. Area school districts avail themselves of special student programs with multiple field trips per year.
