Ai in financial services: the organization conducts empirical research and facilitates dialogue across the public policy, financial, technology, advocacy, and academic sectors to examine the potential of artificial intelligence (ai)/machine learning (ml) to improve financial inclusion and financial well-being. The work also includes examining ai/ml across a variety of financial sector use cases to evaluate customer impact, market practices, and public policy
Small business research: the organization is conducting research into the value of bank accounts and other non-traditional data for increasing credit access to minority business enterprises and other small companies. The program is also focused on helping mission-based lenders increase the scale of their operations.
Program research - this program includes exploratory and planning work for future empirical project opportunities and smaller program initiatives that advance the organization's mission of interrogating technology and data for financial inclusion and financial well-being.
