CHILD ADVOCACY: 63 trained volunteers and CASA staff supported the needs of children in cases before the First Judicial District Court. Most grants and contributions received by CASA are not restricted, but support the organization's mission as a whole. CASA internally allocates funding to match program spending and devotion of staff time and resources.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH: Staff and volunteers attend meetings and events and share printed brochures and educational materials with the public to raise awareness and understanding of how CASA addresses the plight of abused and neglected children, as well as how the community can help support CASA. Most grants and contributions received by CASA are not restricted, but support the organization's mission as a whole. CASA internally allocates funding to match program spending and devotion of staff time and office resources.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING AND SUPPORT: Trained new volunteers to be advocates for abused and neglected children in dependent negligence cases. Held quarterly training and support sessions for volunteers, ending the year with 63 volunteers.
