Foundation funds totaling $157,443 were disbursed in support of First Lutheran Church programs including bible camp costs, missions, curriculum, and furnishings/remodeling/expansion.
As part of the community outreach, education and mission of the Foundation, it also distributed $13,367 to ywca cass clay for window blinds for emerency shelter, $8,500 to feed my starving childred for meal costs, $10,000 to down home for the purchase of mattresses and bed frames, $12,000 to new life center for a security fence, $5,000 to peace Lutheran Church for tuition assistance, $10,000 to anne carlsen center for chapel furnishings and remodeling, $10,000 to healthcare equipment recycling organization (hero) for subsidizing medical supplies, $5,000 to lake agassiz habitat for humanity for building materials, $5,000 to matthew's voice project for basic needs for homeless students in fargo, west fargo, and moorhead public schools, $10,000 to united way of cass clay for backpacks and school supplies, $6,000 to jeremiah program for gross motor skill development equipment, $10,000 to fm rotary Foundation for supporting recital with a cause, $6,000 to farm in the dell for check-in station and gardening supplies, $5,000 to furniture mission for workshop materials and supplies, and several smaller grants under $5,000 to various local charities.
