Program areas at flok Health
Flok Health provides three primary services in the form of websites and apps: howmuchphe.org, cookforlove,org, and the go low pro app. These services allow community members to manage their restrictive diets. Overall user base varies from ~2,000 paying subscribers (how much phe) to 10,000 users registered for free accounts on cook for love, to 1,000 users of the go low pro app.in october 2022, Flok Health began the development of an additional resource for the communtiy in the form of the Flok app and research platform. This resource is not yet publicly available.
Flok Health hosted the annual family camp for those patients with inborn errors of metabolism and their families in june 2022. The camp was both an in-person (Oregon, usa)and virtual event that served a total of 480 individuals and provided 4 days of programming focused on the daily life, known challenges and scientific advances within the inborn errors community.
Flok Health responded to community's requests for support on social media and via email: inquiries about how to find clinics, how to work with food companies, how to find additional resources for Pku support. 10-12 requests/week for a total of 500-750 persons served. Administation of the guthrie-koch scholarship program and advocacy for the community.
