Program areas at Florence for Youth in Action
In 2023 the organization continued to offer scholarships and school supplies to over 150 primary and secondary school children in Bugiri Uganda. We believe that after the completion of the school all the students will be housed and receive their school at the facility.
In 2023 the Organization also engaged in supporting teachers salaries at its school in Bugiri. The School facility is owned and operated by the organization and helps train primary school going children. There are over 2000 students attending bugiri school every year.
In 2023 the organization continued the construction of a Nurse Training facility in Kiryokya Uganda. Although this facility was officialy opened in June 2019, construction is still on going and is expected to be completed in 2024. This trainning faciliyt is expected to equip over 1000 young women with nursing and midwifery skills every year. Also provide them with job opportunities to inprove their lives and the communities they live.
