Financial freedom can be used as a stand-alone text in a financial literacy class, or as a supplement to any financial course or training.
The Florida stock market challenge is an exciting way to engage elementary, middle, or high school students while presenting lessons across the curriculum of economics, social studies, math, reading comprehension, cte and personal finance. Established more than 25 years ago, the Florida stock market challenge gives k-12 students the opportunity to participate in an online investment simulation and manage a hypothetical $100,000 investment portfolio. Teams throughout the state compete against students at their same grade level for the best portfolio performance over a 10-week period and are awarded prizes at the end of both the fall and spring semesters.
