Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary nurtures and provides a loving, healthy, stable forever-home for abused, neglected, abandoned or displaced parrots and other exotic birds. It raises public awareness of the responsibilities and demands of keeping exotic birds as pets. During 2022, the Sanctuary accepted nearly 40 new birds for forever-home care at its facility while continuing to provide nutritious food, shelter, medical and other care, and emotional support to the approximately 850 other birds in residence at the facility.

Program areas at Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary

The Sanctuary accepted nearly 70 new birds for forever-home care during 2023 and continued to provide nutritious food, shelter, medical & other care, and emotional support to the other 850+ birds in residence throughout the calendar year. We continued to inform the general public about the responsibilities and demands of keeping parrots and other Exotic birds as pets via website blog articles, guided tours of our facility, and other means.
