The Florida Historical Society (fhs) enables important and meaningful scholarly and public research, essential outreach and educational programs, and raises awareness of the rich and diverse Historical resources and stories of Florida. Fhs produces a variety of public history programs including; Florida frontiers, a weekly statewide radio program; the Florida Historical Society archeological institute and related presentations; and the discover Florida history lecture series. Fhs manages, staffs, and oversees the Florida Historical Society archeological institute and all matters related to the rossetter house, property and museum.
