Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention develops a program to promote suicide prevention awareness and techniques for mental health professionals and the general public. FISP provides support groups for survivors of death by suicide, refers people in need of treatment services, educates the community about suicide prevention, and offers peer support groups known as Hope Sunshine Clubs for students.
