Annual conference - the 2023 annual conference was held in orlando in july. The conference offered 15 hours of ceu credits available in multiple breakout sessions. The conference also provided opportunities for attendees to network with other Local Government technology leaders. Topics included work that matters, microsoft 365, smart city innovations, recruiting, talent development, and retention, looking beyond the obvious, how to become a born leader, ai, security, breaking cover from the cia, and the courage to be uniquely you. A total of 303 registrants attended in 2023.
2023 webinar - the flgisa held a webinar on may 4, 2023 on building together: cisa initiatives to support sltt partners and current threats to Government agencies. This was an information-sharing program and resource webinar along with cisa-identified threats. A total of 42 registrants attended the webinar.
Winter symposium - the 2023 winter symposium was held in kissimmee in january. The symposium offered networking with over 175 Local Government technology leaders and learning about the latest technology and security trends. Topics include cyber fraud, cisa risk assessment, recruiting and retaining talent, cisa panel, hurricane ian lessons learned, and proactive environmental actions that save money. A total of 193 registrants attended in 2023.
