1.fpn coordinates and provides educational and networking opportunities for its members & partners. Fpn implements its annual learning agenda via webinars, online convenings and in-person gatherings. The culmination of this work is fpn's annual state-wide summit on philanthropy which connects state leaders in philanthropy, nonprofits, government & business, to learn & fuel collaboration to improve the quality of life for fl residents. Fpn's 2023 annual summit brought 216 participants together to Network, learn, and foster new relationships within the Philanthropic sector. These opportunites provide space for Philanthropic leaders to connect and partner to bolster Philanthropic efforts across fl.
Fpn is an advocate for the Philanthropic sector in Florida, through member education and advocacy training, the advancement of a policy agenda informed by fpn affinity groups and members, and investment in statewide research projects to provide knowledge and expertise to members and key stakeholders.
Fpn establishes key partnerships with national and state funders to strengthen philanthropy and impact key member focus areas, such as education, health, and effective and equitable grantmaking. In building these partnerships, fpn attracts resources for the betterment of Florida.
